Approximately 15 months after the high court’s ruling, Patz sent a series of explicit messages to four members of MLB’s Tampa Bay Rays, threatening to “sever” their necks open. Bacot, who finished with 18 points and seven rebounds, drew the ire of bettors for missing the “over” on his rebound total.

The subject of athlete harassment has become a popular topic at one of the nation’s largest conferences for state gambling legislators. In July, a panel at the National Council of Legislators From Gaming States spent a considerable portion of the session on distilling the root causes of the incidents. The panel featured Mid-American Conference Commissioner Jon Steinbrecher, among other college sports leaders.

“How do we avoid ending up with lots of old Java developers and nobody who understands Java because the juniors were never hired? That’s a super-interesting question. How do we fill up with younger people over time? That’s something we’ve been discussing.”

Cubeia is also moving away from the traditional process in which a developer builds something and then hands it to QA.

On Tuesday, Nederlandse Loterij announced it had sent a cease-and-desist notice to companies and directors connected with Skyhills across several jurisdictions, including Costa Rica, North Macedonia, the United Kingdom, Curaçao, Malta and the Marshall Islands. 

The operator confirmed the Skyhills platform is now inaccessible in the Netherlands following the directive.
