To all of those I met at the handful of conferences I attended before Covid-19 sent everything to digital, and all of those I met over email or Zoom since, it was a pleasure to meet you. I’m still not 100% sure what I’ll be doing next, but I suspect it will still be in the gambling industry. This has been my life for more than a decade, and it’s an industry I continue to love and appreciate. While appearing before Navarro on Thursday, Rashid admitted to a series of breaches of his supervised release that prosecutors said showed he had not reformed.
They included tampering with a witness, lying to probation officers about a cell phone, illegally recording a phone call, maintaining a concealed “sex room” inside his home, failing a drug test, and associating with a convicted felon.
Navarro told Rashid she doubted his claims of rehabilitation, saying she was “very disappointed” and “not sure I believe” he is a changed person.
